Many companies that made their own reel to reel tape recorders also had special tape reels designed and made, and this gallery shows them all. Akai, Teac, Ferrograph, Tandberg, Revox, Dokorder and others did not make their own tape, unlike Sony, but sure had some interesting tape reel designs!
